Description

Three bedroomed house with driveway for parking. Two large bedrooms and a smaller room (called a box room in England!). Modern bathroom with shower. Fully central heated and double glazed. Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave all available for use. There is internet access you are welcome to use -also main tv downstairs with dvd player and lots of dvd's - plus smaller tv's in bedrooms. If you have children there is a PS2 and wii they can use with games and some parks within walking distance. We just have a small patio garden to the rear with dining table, chairs and BBQ. The house comes with 2 cats who will need to be fed daily and the occasional fuss - but they pretty much do their own thing.

Neighborhood

We live in a village called Coleshill which is quite, which I've included a picture of. Our house is just off the main High Street but you have everything you need to walk to in just 5 minutes - supermarkets, newsagents, variety of little shops and a Farmers Market once a month. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants (english, indian, chinese cuisine) in the village, again all within walking distance. The village is just 5 minutes drive from Birmingham International Airport - with plenty of public transport and taxi's. It is also 5 minutes from Birmingham Int Train Station, which means you can easily get to any part of the UK in a very short time eg London, Stratford, Warwick or further affield. Actually in Coleshill itself is another smaller train station which will get you into Birmingham City within 10 minutes. We are also by the motorway network which is good (but don't worry, no noise from motorway can be heard). It is a great central location for visiting lots of tourist attractions and I will leave lots of guides and information for you to use.

About Us

I am Louise and 43 years old, I have two sons who are 12 and 10. I work for the local Parish Council but am also self employed doing freelance marketing and business services. My 2 boys go to the local schools. I have family living in the village, who will be on hand to help and give you any information you need while you stay. We have 2 cats - a white one called Tinky and a black one called Betty. We got them both from rescue centres - unfortunately they don't get on together that well so occasionally you see the odd white and black furr go flying! Most of the time they either sleep or just avoid each other!

Destination

We are open to discussing dates - mainly weekend breaks ie Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon/evening or longer breaks during the school holidays.
