This is a lovely log cabin located in Sunriver OR. Sunriver is centrally located in beautiful Central Oregon. Plenty of sights to see and things to do. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers and volcanic sites. Sunriver itself has over 35 miles of paved bike paths, bike rentals are available at Sunriver village and home comes with 2 nice mountain bikes. The nearby lakes and mountains have many trails to hike or mountain bike. Several nearby lakes offer boat rentals, canoes and fishing opportunities. In the winter, Mt Bachelor a famous destination for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoes is just a 30 minute drive from cabin. Newberry National Volcanic Monument is just also a 30 minute drive with lava tubes and an obsidian mountain. You can look at Sunriver.org for more information on this area. Our 1500 sq ft home has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other has a queen bed. We have a twin bed in the loft. There is a full kitchen with double ovens, rangetop cooktop and a microwave. Comfortable living area with opened log ceiling and beautiful rock fireplace. Fireplace has a gas insert for convience. Log rocking chairs on front porch to enjoy the quiet and wildlife of the neighborhood. Abundant deer, squirrels and birds offer a great summer show.

Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is a short walk from the country mall with restaurants, grocery store and shopping. Natural setting with plenty of trees and wildlife.

Destination

The home we are offering is our vacation home. This home could be available any week this next year 2008 except Thanksgiving week and Christmas week. We are most interested in finding accomodations in Scotland, that are centrally located for seeing the country.
