Description

Our home is full of character. Light and airy we have spacious outdoor verandahs both back and front of the house with gas BBQ. Recently renovated it has two new bathrooms, recently installed dishwasher, oven, hotplate and microwave. Reverse cycle air conditioning. Washing machine and dryer. Main bedroom has queen sized bed with adjoining bathroom with spa bath,shower,double basins and toilet. Second bedroom has queen sized bed, seperate bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
106 cm plasma TV with cable television, with surround sound system. Internet connection ultrafast broadband with latest computer.
We have a recent model Mazda 4 wheel drive car for vehicle exchange if wanted.

Neighborhood

Our suburb is inner-city being only 10 mins drive from centre city and 20 mins from Brisbane International airport. Only minutes to getting onto major freeways to both Sunshine Coast in the north and Surfers Paradise in the south. Both of these beaches are approx. one hour's drive. World Heritage listed Fraser Island is approx 3 hours to the north where you can experience beach and bush nature at its best. Our neighbourhood is quiet and leafy with lots of Australian gum trees from which you will hear many of the Australian native birds singing. A 10 min walk will have you in one of the best known cafe/restaurant areas in Brisbane. A 3 minute drive (or 20min walk) will have you in the beautifull Brisbane Forest Park for those who enjoy bushwalking.

About Us

We are a married couple in our late 50's. Our working life has been mostly involved around real estate & property, and jewellery manufacture and sales. We have travelled extensively and eager to continue to see the world. We love entertaining, eating and drinking good wines and learning about other cultures. Most of all we just love wandering and people watching in other countries. We enjoy music of all genres and have an extensive collection. We are house proud and would treat your home with the same respect as we do our own. Our married son and daughter live within minutes of our home and would happily assist with any queries you would have during your stay.

Destination

We would prefer the area around Veneto where we would be able to take short trips to Slovenia and Croatia. We are somewhat flexible with dates. but most likely sometime during July,Aug,Sept,Oct.

car exchange is preferred but not essential
