Description

This is a renovated 3 bedroom + study house in inner suburban Melbourne. Plenty of storage space. We have an artists studio out back. Smallish front and back gardens. We have cable TV (Foxtel) and fast broadband access. We also have a late model SUV that comfortably seats 5.

Neighborhood

We live in one of the best streets (mostly period homes) in one of the best suburbs of Melbourne (South Yarra). Close to great shopping, restaurants (Hawksburn Village, Chapel St, Toorak Rd), all 3-5 mins walk. We are 2 mins walk to City tram and 30 secs from City train (2 stops, 5 mins to City).


About Us

We are a family of four. I am a 49 year old cardiologist and researcher at a nearby Teaching Hospital. My wife is a well regarded professional sculptor. We have 2 children, age 5 and 9 and no pets. We speak only English.

Destination

This exchange is part of a planned sabaatical in Chelsea, London (Brompton Hospital) from approx August (to coincide with start of school year in UK) to November 2008 but some flexibility around these dates. We would be interested in anywhere around the greater London area.
