Description

Our beautiful modern beach house is situated in a small exclusive development at Beach View in Duncannon village. The house has a view of the beach and Hook Head Light House & penninsula. It is tastefully decorated throughout, well equipped & is absolutely ideal for families. Access to the wonderful blue flag beach which is 50 yards away is via a number of steps (alternate route available for pushchairs / disabled).

Neighborhood

Duncannon is a small seaside fishing village with spectacular ocean views in the sunny South East of Ireland. It is situated in the beautiful surrounds of Hook Peninsula and is renowned for its Blue Flag beach and its Historical Fort which is now a visitor centre & houses a brilliant Maritime Museum. The historical village boasts Award winning pubs and restaurants along with spectacular views & is an ideal base for sightseeing, water sports, fishing, golf, walking and bird watching.

Duncannon is centrally located and is a great base to explore other sights in the South East of Ireland. Duncannon is 10 miles from Waterford city with it's spectacular harbour and shopping, and it is 24 miles to Wexford and approx 40 miles to the medieval city of Kilkenny.

About Us

We are a family of 5 and absolutely love the sea. Duncannon for us is the most restful, rejuvinating and visually stunning place on earth! Just parking the car there, we feel a sense of calm which is a strange sensation with 3 young children but they absolutely love the place too. We have spent 4 years taking long, lazy, extended vacations in Duncannon and are ready to part with our little gem for a short while in order to see another part of the world.
