Description

Our home is a modern 3 bedroom bungalow situated in a quiet suburb just a 10 minute drive from the central city or an easy direct bus ride. 2 bedrooms each have a double bed with the third being used as a den/computer room that could be set up with a folding single bed if desired. We have a nice deck area with a bbq and picnic table. Inside we have satellite tv and wireless broadband internet.
We have 2 cats but if it doesn't work out to cat-sit we can put them in a cattery.
Wellington is a wonderful city with nice restaurants and great entertainment and shopping. An hours drive to the Wairarapa (wine country) and the ferry to the South Island leaves from downtown Wellington. There are also lots of hiking opportunities and scenic drives near by. Perfect for people looking to experience New Zealand and its most beautiful city.

Neighborhood

Our house is located on a cul-de-sac street in the suburb of Woodridge. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood that's close to the central city by car or the bus stop is a one minute walk away and goes direct to the city. Close to walking trails and beautiful views of the harbour.
Wellington is known for it's hospitality to tourists and is a popular cruise ship stop. If you prefer more outdoors activities there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and kayaking and riding just to name a few. The only thing missing is an ice rink ;-)

About Us

We are a professional couple heading to Fredericton, Canada for our wedding. I am originally from Fredericton and have been living here for 3 years so I can give you a good insight of things you may want to see and do. I can also provide a guide to kiwi slang :-)
