Description

We offer our 4 rooms appartment (97 square meters) near the city center (15 min. walk) of the capital city of Lithuania - Vilnius. You can reach all sights by foot.
Our living room is connected with a kitchen. There is a sofa, capable to accomodate 2 of you. Also small computer room with a sofa, which is OK o sleep for 2 of you more, Fatima's room with one kid's bed and hundreds of toys and finally a bedroom with a big bed for 2 or even 3 of you :-) Also there is a small bed for a child in a bedroom.
Whole apartment was completely renovated in 2006.
You may use unlimited broadband Internet connection and Wi-Fi.

Also if you are bored of the city, we can offer our country-side house in a remote village, 170 km from Vilnius. You may use our car to reach it. This is an old woodend house in a small village in Panevezys region. The house is about 150 square meters, the land - almost 1 ha. During the summer time there are a lot of apples and peaches. Facilities - electricity and coocking - OK. Toilet - outside, no bathroom, no drinking water, no water supply.

Neighborhood

Our house was built for the Governement of Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic. So you would spend your time not just in a neighborhood of current Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas, vice-chairman of the Parliament Ceslovas Jursenas, but also next to old retired KGB officers :-)
Shop with food is 4 min. walk and bus stop - 2 min. walk from our home.
Small park is just beside the house.

Our country is quite small, so you may visit all main sites just in 7-10 days.

About Us

We are a family of 4: Vladas (1976), Head of Web related company, Inga (1976), an architect and kids - Fatima (2002) and Maja (2006).
We are quite new in home-swaping, but very experienced in hospitality exchange - Vladas is an old member of HospitalityClub (over 160 comments), CouchSurfing (over 130 comments), BeWelcome, Stay4Free, GlobalFreeLoaders, etc.
We all love travels, cultures, esoterics, etc. We have visited over 40 countries, mostly in Europe and Asia.
Vladas speaks English, Russian, Polish, a bit French. Inga can also speak Spanish.

Destination

For summer 2008 we would like to visit Portugal or Cyprus or Sicily in Italy. But other locations are welcome as well!
If you want to stay at our place longer, we can negotiate that - we are quite flexible.
