One-bedroom apartment right in the middle of beautiful Stockholm. Apartment with sunny balcony on the third floor (although the elevator will tell you it's on fourth) in a 1990:s five-story apartment building.

Hardwood floors all over. Was renovated during 2007 and is now in mint condition sporting a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is well taken care of and always clean and tidy.

Bedroom with a kingsize bed and a large sunny balcony overlooking the street.
The kitchen appliances are all new, and includes a microwave and a dishwasher.
The livingroom is equipped with a 40-inch flatscreen TV and a DVD-player.
The granite tiled bathroom has a bath tub and a rainfall shower head.

Neighborhood

Our apartment is located right in the middle of Stockholm City, on the island of "Södermalm" - just south of Gamla Stan (The Old Town). The whole of Stockholm, as well as Södermalm, offers idyllic charm, and Södermalm is definitely one of the prettiest parts of Stockholm. From here you can walk to The Old Town (it takes 10 minutes) as well as to the central parts of the city (that takes about 30 minutes). There are subway stations literally just around the corner as well as many bus lines.

The apartment is superbly located in between the main street with all its stores, bars, restaurants and cafes (Götgatan) and Södermalm's busy central square (Medborgarplatsen).

For long Södermalm was mainly known as a working class area,. Today it is considered a fashionable place to live or to go to, and it boasts prominent shopping districts and a wide range of cafes, restaurants, bars, art galleries and trendy boutiques.

About Us

We are a couple in our early 30:s, working as an MD & a communication officer. We are looking to travel as much as possible during our free time. None of us smoke and we would be as careful with your home as we are with ours.

Destination

We are looking to exchange homes with someone in New York City during early fall (September or October).
