Description

Spacious 2 story house that has views over one of the three swimming/surfing beaches in Coolum, and from the other direction beautiful rainforest trees. We are a few minutes walk to the local surf beaches (main beach is patrolled by life savers), there is also a range of restuarants and shops. The house has a heated pool, 5 bedrooms, 2 separate lounge rooms, a dining room, 3 bathrooms and a large deck with an outdoor eating area including a Barbeque. We are located in a quite street that is on a small hill, that gets a wonderful sea breeze as well as ocean views. There is a total of 3 TV, which has cable access. There is plenty of room for a family to spread out through out the house and garden. The pool has it's own entertainment area to relax around.
The 5 bedrooms include bedding for 7 - main bedroom is upstairs with its own deck that looks has ocean views, it has a queens size bed with it's own ensuite. There are 2 other additional bedrooms upstairs, each with a single bed in them, they share a bathroom and a separate toilet. Downstairs in an additional 2 bedrooms, on with a double bed the other a single bed, they share a bathroom and toilet.

Neighborhood

Short stroll to the beach bays in front of the house, while it is 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, parks and patrolled beaches in the main tourist strip of town. Sunshine Coast has over 100km of coast line all of them beautiful beaches. Beautiful location for families who enjoy the outdoors. We are also only 30 minutes to the hinterland towns of Maleny and Montville. We are 20 minute drive to the famous Noosa Beach and Hasting Street, and 30 minutes drive from Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin). We are just over 1 hour north of the capital city of Brisbane for international flights, we also have a local airport that provides cheap flights to Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.

About Us

We are a married couple with 3 girls currently aged 10, 6 and 3, I lecture at the local university while my husband works at one of the local high schools. We enjoy having relaxed time with the family exploring the rocky head lands, surfing, swimming and building sand castles at the local beaches.

Destination

We love the water and would like to do a house exchange In Italy along the Amalfi coast line, Riviera, or Northern Italy in the lakes area but happy to consider other options in Italy. Other locations we would be interested in include France in particularParis, Hossegor, Biarritz, Vieux Bocau and surrounding areas. We are happy to consider other options in both France and Italy.

We are happy to consider dates in 2009, from May to September for a simultaneous exchange. Though our house could be available from mid December to end of January (Australian summer) for a non-simultaneous exchange.
