Description

Our home is in an 100 year old quayside building in Kabelvåg, right in the middle of the Lofoten Islands. Located in a boat harbour you will enjoy the close proximity to the sea and the small fishing village Kabelvåg. Our house is fully renovated ( latest 2006). There are 4 spacious bedrooms, 1 large bathroom with shower and bathtub, two terraces and high speed wi-fi.
Our car - a VW Passat can be included. We have a 16 ft boat with engine and a sea kayak available if desired.


Neighborhood

Situated in a port there is a quiet atmosphere surrounding the house. 2 minute walk to the centre of the fishing village Kabelvåg. In Kabelvåg there are art galleries, aquarium, historical centre and arts & Crafts
It is close to all the nature adventures you can experience in the area. The mountains and the fjords.
2 minute walk to bus stop for all directions. 7 minute drive to Svolvær - the capital of Lofoten with shops, cafèes, galleries and outdoor activities.

About Us

We are a family of 5, becoming 7 in february 2008.
Kenneth, self employed - 36 years, Beate - 31 years, physiotherapist.
Emil 11 years, Mina 8 years, Noah 3 years and two girl twins coming in february.
However - there will be us two adults, one of the children as well as the newborn twins going to your house.
We have a cat named Sala who will be staying home and needs feeding.
We are curiuos and kind people seeking new experiences and new relations. We are interested in history, different cultures, travelling and have special interests such as golf, photographing and outdoor activities of all kinds.

Destination

We would like to go the the southern part of Europe for a long term holiday. Preferably close to the sea and close to some cultural sights/citys/towns/villages.
The exchange do not have to be simultaneous, as we do have another 3-bedroom house 2 minutes walk from our house. This house will be available in the period 20.June- 30.August. This house is also with a large garden, and is closer to the centre of the village Kabelvåg.
