Mar del Plata is a city located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the Buenos Aires Province (400 km - great executive bus transport $20 each way) that has one of the major fishing ports and the biggest seaside beach resort in Argentina.

As part of the Argentine recreational coast, tourism is one of Mar del Plata's main economic activities, that’ s why this city offers sophisticated tourist infrastructure to cater to the industry and as such, casinos, theatres and other tourist attractions.

Mar del Plata is the most popular destination for conventions in Argentina after Buenos Aires and has a wide range of services in this sector. The summer season hosts over fifty theatrical plays. The city, also called Argentine Biarritz, owes its nickname to the picturesque and art deco styles recreated by local architects and builders during the 30's and 40's and was transformed onto a middle-class scale.

This has marked the beginning of the so called Mar del Plata Style, consisting in small samples of the luxury-laden summer residences of the high society, with some Californian features.

We are a 46 yo couple, easygoing and careful, we work in marketing and computer science, like music, meditation. We speak english and spanish.

Destination

Our 3 bedroom/ 2 bath house for your 2 bedroom flat/house in San Francisco/Pacifica/Marin/Berkley. I am an American citizen living in Argentina.

1-2 months between mid-February and end of May '08 (Summer season, here!!)
