Newly constructed "Cush Cottage" offers 3 bedrooms with an open plan living area and all mod cons. The cottage is situated in a beautiful rural setting 3 miles from the vibrant village of Portarlington (pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc.). The cottage is set on the edge of Cush Wood with views over farmland to the Slieve Bloom mountains. An ideal location to relax and discover the local countryside on foot.
The location is also perfect for visiting Dublin (45 minutes by train) as well as the West Midlands on the river Shannon. The immediate locality offers many amenities around Portlaoise and Tullamore including Garryhinch Golf Club, Emo House & Gardens, Birr Castle and of course the Slieve Blooms.

Neighborhood

Peace and quiet on a quiet country road. The village of Portarlington with is about 3 miles.

About Us

We are a French / Irish family of five currently living & working in The Gambia. Nigel is working for an English NGO, Stéphanie is studying Anthropology, Clara (4) & Tom (2) are in school and Dylan (>1) is learning to walk and keep up with the rest of us.

Destination

We are looking for somewhere near Sommieres / Montpelier and are very flexible on dates as the cottage in Ireland is free!!
