Description

Our home is large by london standards and is a fully equipped family house. We have a large living room with Tv, DVD, Video and satellite tv. The Kitchen has a fridge, 2 freezers , dishwasher, microwave, 2 gas burners and an aga cooker. The washing machine and PC computer with wifi broadband are also kept here. There is also a small table to eat at. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. The three bedrooms have a super king bed, a double bed and a bunkbed in them. All have a tv in the room.There is a roof terrace outside one bedroom and an outside space outside the kitchen. A cleaner comes twice a week. We drive an automatic 7 seater car and parking is on the street.

Neighborhood

We live in a good neighbourhood in an affluent part of London. We are in zone 2 of the tube system in the southwest of London. Public transport of the tube and buses are 2 to 10 minutes walk away. The tube itself will take you to the centre of London in 15mins and they run every 3-4 minutes. There are many shops within 2 minutes walk and there is also a swimming pool and gym 2 minutes walk away. We are lucky and live in an area that has many bars, clubs, cinemas and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Others travel from far to go to these places. Threre is also a local street market that sells food within a 10 minute walk. The area is relatively safe and we have lived here for 14 years without any problems. The neighbours are mostly singles and couples with a few families with young children.

About Us

We are Geoff a lawyer, and Jill a teacher, but now a stay at home mum. We have 3 children all under 5 years old. Jessica is 4, Charlie is 2 and Nic is 7 months.

We love to travel and have been to many different countries to explore all the many customs, cultures, foods and atmospheres the world has to offer. Jill has lived in several different countries as a child and young adult and is now keen to expose and show our children how others actually live and not just holiday from a hotel.

We share our house with a French/Italian girl who lives on the top floor. She is 22 and is here for 1 year to learn English. She has her own room and bathroom and only shares the kitchen. She works all day and gets home between 7 and 11. She especially likes the children and is very kind to them.

Destination

We would really like to be near a beach.
We would also like to say that we appreciate that three small children can be challenging but we do not find it so. They are well behaved children as we are quite strict and we promise they will not destroy your house and will treat it with respect.
