We own a nice red brick cottage composed of several living area : living room, dining room, kitchen, small office on the main floor, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and 1 office on the second floor and a basement that can be converted in an extra bedroom. Our street is a dead end and therefore very quiet. There also a pretty flower garden. We offer high speed Internet and general comptempory appliances. Our car can also be included in the house exchange. Our two cats are available on request.

Notre maison est un charmant cottage de brique rouge. Elle comprend 7 pièces : 1 salon, 1 salle à manger, 1 cuisine, 2 bureaux, 1 chambre principale, 1 salle de bain et un sous-sol pouvant être converti en chambre supplémentaire. Notre rue est très tranquille et nous avons un agréable jardin où vous pourrez vous détendre en entendant les oiseaux. Nous offrons un accès Internet haute vitesse et l’ensemble des appareils contemporains : cuisinière, réfrigérateur et lave-linge; télé avec câblodistribution, chaîne hi-fi, DVD, etc. Nous avons une voiture que nous pouvons inclure dans l’échange. Nous avons aussi deux chats qui pourront ou non demeurer avec vous.

Neighborhood

We live in the borough of Verdun in the city of Montreal. By car we are approximately 10 minutes from downtown Montreal and approximately 25 minutes by metro and bus. The numerous festivals for wich Montreal is well renowned are therefore easily accessible : the Jazz festival, Just for Laughs festival, international fireworks competitions, the Grand Prix car racing, etc. Our dwelling is located at approximatly 400 meters from the St-Lawrence river and close to the big Angrignon Park, the Lachine Rapids and two cycling paths as well as a municipal park with tennis courts. Discovering Montreal on a bicycle is quite interesting and you are welcome to use our own. Numerous other services are available at a short distance.

You can enjoy nature and calm and the Montreal’s and Quebec’s activities.

Nous demeurons à Montréal, dans l’arrondissement Verdun. Nous sommes à 10 mn du centre ville en voiture et 25 mn par autobus et métro (arrêt d'autobus à 150 m). Vous pourrez donc facilement accéder aux festivités estivales réputées de Montréal : Festival de Jazz, Festival de l’humour, Concours international de feux d’artifices, Grand Prix de Montréal, etc. Nous sommes situés à 400 m du fleuve Saint-Laurent, près des Rapides de Lachine, du parc Angrignon, de deux importantes pistes cyclables ainsi que d’un parc municipal avec court de tennis. La découverte de Montréal en vélo est très intéressante et nous mettons à votre disposition nos deux vélos.
Nombreux services à faible distance(en voiture).

Vous pourrez donc profiter de la nature et du calme tout en étant à proximité de l'animation de la ville!

About Us

We are Diane and Yves, a quebecer couple in ther early fifties. We both work in management training for public and parapublic organisations. We have traveled quite a bit and have had the opportunity to work in various countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. Our leisure time is basically oriented towards travelling and hiking. We are very concerned about welfare of people around us.

Nous sommes un couple de québécois, Diane et Yves, au début de la cinquantaine. Nous travaillons tous les deux en management de la formation pour différents organismes publics et parapublics. Nous avons beaucoup voyagé et avons eu l'occasion de travailler dans de nombreux pays (Europe, Afrique, Asie). Nos loisirs sont principalement axés autour des voyages et la randonnée. Nous sommes très soigneux du bien d'autrui.
