Description


Villa Santana is at the highest point of the "urbanizacion" on a mountainside with views down to tohe Mediterranean sea and the Costa del Sol and looking westwards to the Sierra de Nieves mountains.

The house is built on a plot of 2500 m2 which is surrounded on both sides with two other plots of the same size, which also belong to the family and are at present in their origianl rustic state which lend the house a sensation of space.

The garden is maintained with the original trees for that area: olives. Figs, almonds, palm and pine. There are orange, lemon, pear and grapefruit trees as well as other shrubs and plants.

The garden is on different levels and there is a path down to the large private pool area which is about 50 metres from the house and has a large terrace for the sun loungers, poolside games and relaxing.

Neighborhood

Valtocado is a resudential estate with plots and houses situated off the Mijas to Coin road just 2.5 kms from Mijas and 8kms from Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol.

About Us

There are 4 members in our family: myself Bridget (50) of Anglo /Irish origin but have lived in Spain for nearly 30 years , my husband Andrés (54) a business consultant and our 2 daughters Rosa (21) and Clara (19) both stydying at university in Seville.

Destination

We love to use the exchange optionto be able to visit family in Uk and Ireland. For August 2008 we would love to find somewhere near Kinsale or Cork .
