Description

You will enjoy our comfy home with interior design to give it that cabin feel. There is a wood stove for heat and ambiance. The home is located at 4000' elevation so the night temperature can drop to where a fire is lovely. Day time temperatures are typically warm and lovely. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinner ware and cookware. There is a washer & dryer for guest use. The surrounding area is heavy with trees, flowers, ferns and native birds. There is a Golf Course (with restaurant open for breakfast and lunch) and a winery just down the road. Both are within walking distance.

Our home has 2 master suites with attached bathrooms each sleeps 2 persons. The living room sofa sleeps 2 additional and the upstairs bunk room sleeps 5. Our home was built 4 years ago.

Volcano National Park is located about 2 miles from our neighborhood. There is Volcano Village also near with restaurants and markets. The city of Hilo is a 30 minute drive. There are botanical gardens, waterfalls, great hikes, open markets and great restaurants.

Neighborhood

The Volcano Golf Course neighborhood is where are house is located. As the name implies there is an 18 hole golf course open 7 days per week. The Golf Course also has a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. The area is very lush with foliage and native birds abound.

Volcano National Park is located about 2 miles from our home. It is here that you may see fresh molten lava. There are great hikes and don't miss the walk through Thurston Lava Tube. The steam vents and museum are worth a visit and can be hiked, biked or drive to see.
There is Volcano Village also near with restaurants and markets. The city of Hilo is a 30 minute drive. There are botanical gardens, waterfalls, great hikes, open markets and great restaurants along the way and in the city of Hilo.

About Us

We are 2 families that built this home together as a vacation home. Our children are now grown and we are looking to travel almost anywhere in the world. Since this is a vacation homes dates are flexible and a simultaneous exchange is not necessary.
We are non-smokers and 50 ish. It is most likely we will travel and exchange without our grown children.

Destination

This can be a non-simultaneous exchange; the dates are flexible as this is a second home. We are interested in traveling anywhere in the world. Aloha!
