Description

Islington, north London, close to tubes and buses, only 15 minutes to centre of London. Large family home, light and spacious, comfortable and much loved. Perfect for families with young children. Kitchen with patio garden, living room with piano, TV, Playstation, DVD etc, open fire. Doors to patio. Two single rooms, and one with bunk beds. Double room. Bathroom with toilet, and further toilet downstairs. Quiet, tree-lined street, popular with families.

Neighborhood

Sought after shady street, most residents families with children, or professional working people. Lots of restaurants and small shops just around the corner. About a mile away, very lively and fashionable area of Angel/Islington, with its shops, restaurants and night life. We are close to two lovely parks, and two leisure centres with swimming pools (indoor). Children's play areas and tennis in both parks, with cafes. Buses in next street go to all major areas for sightseeing, and there are two different tube stations within 10 minutes walk.

About Us

We work in publishing - educational material and magazines. Our house is full of books, including lots of books and guides to London and the local area. We are keen cooks and the kitchen is well-equipped. We have two boys aged 9 and 12. We have a lovely Labrador who will be housed elsewhere when you are here!

Destination

Non-simultaneous exchange possible. The dates given above (May - Oct 2009) are when we would be travelling, but our house would be available at other times from now on, until that date.
