Neighborhood

The property is in an exceptional location because of its privacy : Very quiet gated private road, no traffic noise, only crickets singing !
Very practical and convenient thanks to its proximity to the center of Aix en Provence (5 minutes drive), the Mall and Supermarket ( 3 minutes drive), there is a horse riding club and tennis club down the road (2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk), a very important golf club (7 minutes drive).
The big city of Marseille and the Vieux Port are 25 minutes away.
The sea and beaches are 40 minutes away !
If you enjoy a drive to visit the Cote d'Azur, Saint Tropez and Cannes are 1H30 minutes away by car; Nice, Monaco and the Italian border are a 2h drive away !

The city is very well deserved by train stations and airports :
* Aix en Provence TGV station is 10 minutes away from the house and the airport of Marignane 20 minutes.
The TGV train enables you to go to Paris in 3 hours !

The roads are wide and the countryside is breath taking.... It is a pleasure to drive there, it might remind you of a French California!

About Us

We are a family with 4 kids, 2 boys of 27 and 29 and 2 girls of 20 and 22 years old.
Our daughter went to UCLA and decided to swap our Provence Villa for a house in Los Angeles because she wants to attend Law School and take summer classes to prepare for it.
So we thought it would be a good idea to all go spend the summer in California !

We work in fashion in Paris and love to go to our Provence home on the week ends, thanks to the TGV train Paris is only 3 hours to Aix en Provence !

Our Americans friends gave us the idea a few years ago to "house swap" in the summer because our property is exactly what foreigners are looking for when they come to South of France, and its position is so convenient to travel around !
