Description

Our home is on the first floor of a condominium block of ten. It overlooks Tala lake and has recently been tastefully refurbished with all new furniture and appliances.
It is close to Charlotte Harbour and Peace River and most amenities are within driving distance.
We have access to a huge outdoor,caged and heated swimming pool and jacussi and the nearest beach complex is just 15 minutes drive away.
The lanai overlooks the lake with all of its birdlife and is our favourite spot for breakfast as the sun risies. From the front balcony we observe the glorious sunsets accompanied by a G&T.

Neighborhood

Our neighbourhood is quiet, especially in the summer months as we are located in a park-like setting.
Walking is a pleasure particularly in the morning or evening but a car is necessary for shopping or dining.
The condominium is just 2 miles from the interstate I.75 which is extremely convenient for travelling or touring Florida.
It is not ideal for children as the majority of owners are retirees.
Punta Gorda is just across the river about two miles and has much to offer. Restaurants on the water,shopping and many other facilities.

About Us

My wife and I are both retired. I was a Lecturer and she owned her own Hairdressing Salon,
We enjoy socialising ,eating out,reading, playing tennis and swimming as well as riding our bicycles.
I speak a little French--with difficulty!

Destination

We have recently concluded a successful exchange in France
We are quite flexible regarding dates but a 2 or 3 weeks stay would suit us most
France, italy and Spain would be our preferred destinations
A location with access to bathing( a pool)?and or air conditioning would be appreciated
