Description

Our modern family home was built in early 2006 and is 2200 sq ft. Three furnished double bedrooms all with TV and DVD players and one empty bedroom and three bathrooms (one en-suite). Modern kitchen with large oven, american fridge/freezer and dining table that easily seats six people. Living/TV room with large widescreen TV and Satellite package (good range of channels) and DVD player and comfortable sofa and chairs. Formal sitting room with two sofas and elegant surroundings. Utility room with washer and dryer. Internet access (dial up) and laptop also available. We also have a good selection of DVDs and a PS2. Front and back garden with BBQ.

Neighborhood

House is situated in a small modern development of about 15 houses mainly comprised of families. It is located across the street from a primary/elementary school and a community centre that has a bar that is good fun at weekends, the centre also has a GAA (Irish Sports Association) club that frequently hosts Gaelic football games. Development is next door to a Catholic church. Located 5 miles from the town of Carrickmacross, which is where public transportation where Dundalk, Monaghan & Dublin (90min bus ride) can be reached from. House is in peaceful area, good for recreational walks but most amenities can only be accessed by car. There are three excellent golf courses in the area, in addition to lakes that are excellent for fishing. Our home is less than an hour from Slane castle, Newgrange, the Hill of Tara. We are a 15 minute drive from Nuremore Hotel and leisure centre, which is renowned for it's dining room and welcomes public reservations. We are also just over an hour from Dublin airport, which is easily accessed by the M1 just a 10min drive from our home.

About Us

Recently graduated from university with my Masters. I live at home with my mother and elder sister who both want to be included in the home swap. We all love travelling in America. I can speak some French, though not fluently. My main interests revolve around my qualifications (Media), that is music and movies. I also love reading, travelling, swimming, walking, etc. My mum and sister have similar interests to myself.
