A large office (2nd bedroom) is equipped with high speed wireless internet, has twin size bed, sleeps 1. The 3rd bedroom has cable T.V. and a Queen size bed, sleeps 2. Comfortable tub/shower bathroom is shared by the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms.
The home has approximately 2000 sq ft of interior living space and 800 sq ft of exterior living area. A large well equipped kitchen opens to a great room with dining area and lounge area with stereo and flat screen T.V. A therapeutic 5 person jetted spa is just steps away from main living areas. There is a washer and dryer for guest use, as well as 2 big indoor/outdoor cats to love and feed. A vehicle trade may be possible on a case by case basis.
The area also has 2 tennis courts for residents use and lovely walking path.

Neighborhood
The Big Island is the largest island in the Hawaiian chain. It is mountainous and has 11 of the worlds 13 different climate zones. We have everything to offer from Rain forrests to beaches, to savanh grass lands to snow topped mountains (seasonal) and an active live Volcano.
Kona is home of the World Championship of the Ironman Triathalon, Home of the World Famous "Kona Coffee" and deep sea fishing. You can tour a coffe plantation and expereince the processing and sampling from start to finish. This is an thriving community offering recreation in many different area. There are ocean activities including, snorkeling , scuba diving, deep sea fishing, shore fishing, sun bathing, swimming, paddling, boating, para-sailing, sailing, kayaking, etc. We are blessed with the spinner dolphins, numerous varies of tropical marine life and the endangered green sea turtles love our beaches and year round warm water. Other activities include great hiking, bike trails and scenic drives. Volcano National Park is approx. 90 miles or 130 km from Kona and attractions thousands of visitors each year. It is a wonder to experience the displays in the park including molten lava (when mother nature puts on the show).
Kona has color everywhere from the vegetable markets to the ocean blue and free Hula shows Friday at Keauhou Shopping Center. Did I mention great golf courses? There is something for everyone!
About Us
With my daughter out of College I am ready to pick up my travel bug again. My favorite way of traveling is to stay among the people, learn some culture and some language, rather than staying in hotels catering to tourists. I consider myself a traveler not a tourist. Canadian born and raised, I worked in Saudi Arabia when I was from 23 to 30 years old and traveled a great deal to many countries. I settled in Hawaii when I left Saudi Arabia in 1990. I am in my late 40's and a non-smoker.
I have 2 cats Tiger and Zac. The cats are outside during the day and indoor cats at night. There are no liter boxes to worry about :). The cats require dry food in the morning, water and a little wet food at night to bring them in the house before lights out.
I love living in Kona and have been here for 18 years. I swim in the ocean 3-4 times per week, love yoga, golf and the ambient air temperatures. Our waters are beautiful and with safe practices, can be very fun and safe even for beginners.
My work is real estate sales and I generally have a flexible schedule. Which is good for traveling. My travel stays will generally be only for 1-2 weeks accommodating 2 persons, usually myself and 1 travel partner. Upon occasion there may be 4 travelers, no children.
Destination
Travelling would be 2 adults. We are open to adventure almost anywhere and since we live in a fabulous destination location you will have a great time here.
