Description

Our home is Large and Comfortable with a beautiful backdrop of the Rain Forest at Lighthouse Beach. The House is very private surrounded by the Rain Forest and beautiful beach is only 5 min walk. The koala was taken at our house. We are only 7 kms from the Town of Port Macquarie population approx. 42.000. The Climate is regarded as the best in Australia by the C.S.I.R.O. The Mid North Coast of N.S.W. about 4 1/2 hrs drive North of Sydney.

Neighborhood

We love living here because of the beautiful surrounds, Beaches and river. We get a lot of tourists as it is a popular holiday destination. There are beautiful walking tracks on our road and Lighthouse Beach is 5 mins walk. We do have local shops near by but the main town is 7 k. where you will find many lovely places to eat, a newly completed Regional Gallery and Entertainment Centre, also a large shopping center. There is also plenty of fresh sea food available beautiful prawns & oysters. Port Macqarie is on the mouth of the Hastings River & there is Fishing, Whale Watching trips, River Cruises & Wild Life Park.

About Us

We are both retired John 64 & Anne 60. We enjoy travel, I love my bridge & John his golf. We love our home & will care for yours! We both only speak English. We have had 2 home exchanges and had such rewarding experiences. They were such huge successes we are looking forward to many more we are flexible and interested in all destinations.
