Description

We will be on a one year sabbatical to Lille, France and would like to rent or swap our home with another family. If you have children, our one-story house is ideal. We are close to the beach, the mountains, and the desert. We are almost exactly between Los Angeles and San Diego. We have a nice, safe neighborhood that is ideal for children and has great schools. We are just minutes from Disneyland and 15 to 30 minutes to three airports (including LAX). The weather is gorgeous all year round and it is a great place to be outdoors.

Neighborhood

We are surrounded by nice families (some of whom have lived here since the neighborhood was built). We have several bus stops located a few minutes walk away. We have a mix of families with young kids, those without, and older couples. The neighborhood itself is quiet, but is located near a hub of activity in Huntington Beach. The malls are great and the Euro goes quite far. You can go skiing and surfing in one day from this location.

About Us

I am an intellectual property attorney who is taking a one-year sabbatical with my three children (to Lille, France). We are currently hosting a high school student from Lille this year in our home. I have a great network of friends, family and neighbors here who are able to help make your stay pleasant and I am leaving my car for use by whomever rents our house.

Destination

I am willing to rent the house out for six months to a year and I can find my own housing in France.
