Description

Harbour Studio, formerly the home of well known artists Freddie and Anyon Cook, has been most tastefully renovated to the highest standards.
All windows overlook the harbour and the forty ft ground floor balcony overhangs the harbour.
There is a Gas fired Aga cooker, a gas hob, fridge ,washer/drier and dishwasher. Sky TV is provided by a huge flat screen TV and there is a DVD player .
There is a wonderful open log burner for those cosy evenings in, but of course there is under floor heating downstairs and background heating in all the rooms
A truly magnificent holiday experiance ...

Neighborhood

Polperro is a very orriginal cornish fishing village which has a very special character of its own.
Cars are discouraged from entering the village, as there simply is not room, but all the local amenities are within easy walking distance. Harbour Studio has a car parking space at the entrance to the village .
The Pubs, and restaurants are a real entertainmet throughout the year. Good food and often live entertainment in the Pubs is readilly available even during the winter months.

About Us

I am Peter Cairns, and my Partner is Sue.
I qualified as an electronics engineer, but then diversified ...
I hold a comercial Pilots licence and an International yachting certificate, but in recent years we have concentrated our activities on sailing . We sailed our 55 ft Ketch back from Greece last summer.
My last 20 years of working life have been very fully engulfed with running one of the most successful Pubs in East Devon. BUT NOW WE HAVE SOLD OUT, So never mind Gap year ... Gap LIFE ...

Sue has helped me recently with our business, but before that has managed homes for Adults with learning difficulties, and for Severely disturbed children.

We plan to spend some time relaxing from the Working experiance, before we settle down .. Who knows where ? We have both been to Aus and loved it, but only I so far have been to NZ .. I loved it so much, we just might settle there ..
